Carbon Analyst

About the role

• Location: India (Remote)
• Full-time

As a Carbon Analyst you’ll:

• Perform quantitative risk assessments and conduct due diligence of carbon offset projects, assessing project viability and the potential for risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party validators for project verification and validation.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and legislation related to carbon offsetting and climate change.

About you

You’ll thrive as an Carbon Analyst if you have:

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the carbon offset or environmental sector.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Knowledge of carbon markets, carbon offset projects, and related regulations.
